For regular sessions, my turnaround is 3-4 weeks for the full gallery and weddings are 7-8 weeks. I always aim to deliver a preview with a few sneak peaks within 3-5 days of the session, though!

Yes! I travel for the majority of my sessions and weddings. I charge a small travel fee at the federal mileage rate of $0.57/mi outside of a 100-mile radius of Cedar Rapids. For elopements and intimate destination weddings, I have a separate pricing guide, and all travel is already included in each package.

I'd describe my style as emotionally-driven and journalistic. I love sitting back and letting people connect and interact without a lot of posing. I am deeply inspired by light, movement, and form and take an artistic approach to telling my couples' story in a way that represents them well, but also tells the narrative of how their day unfolded.

We embrace it with open arms and show stress to the door. For the reasons I listed above, I think that accepting your day as unique and imperfectly beautiful is so important. Everyone's day is different, and we can get really dreamy portraits out in the rain. Of course, a light sprinkle will affect us differently than a downpour, so we may need to shift some outdoor portraits to after the ceremony, as well as find a couple of beautiful spots indoors where the natural light is peaking through. If you know there is a potential for rain, I recommend ordering clear umbrellas from Amazon or Target; one per couple is plenty! Having a spare pare of shoes and stain remover for your dress are also helpful for post-outdoor fun.

Absolutely! I know that the standard 6/8/10 hour packages don't always fit everyone's needs, so extra hours of coverage can be added at a rate of $100/hr.
